Skimming / Finish Coat
Plaster skimming to plasterboard is a popular method of providing a smooth, seamless surface ready to receive decorative treatment.
Skim plastering gives many of the advantages of a traditional solid plaster finish such as robustness, acoustic enhancement and a quick turnaround on site.

Internal Bonding
Thistle plasters have been formulated to suit a wide variety of background types including concrete, brick, blockwork, sand/cement, expanded metal lath and plasterboard. They are resilient and scuff- resistant for general purposes and are free from inherent shrinkage cracking. Due to the design flexibility of British Gypsum plaster systems, they can be tailored to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications, from office and commercial space to education, healthcare and industrial.
Thistle BondingCoat is designed for low suction backgrounds e.g. some brickwork, blockwork or concrete, Gyproc plasterboard, expanded metal lath or surfaces treated with bonding agents.

The Gyproc plasterboard product range provides solutions for enhanced moisture, fire, acoustic, impact and thermal performance. Plasterboards with enhanced performance have been highlighted with key symbols.
